DATAREAD Clean — standardize and inspect
Apply supported cleaning and formatting rules, check data quality, normalize common inconsistencies and identify entries that need further attention.
DATAREAD brings data cleaning, quality checks, spreadsheet-style review, batch processing, exports and descriptive insights into one Windows desktop workflow.
DATAREAD is designed to automate supported, straightforward preparation steps and direct attention to entries that need human review.
Apply supported cleaning and formatting rules, check data quality, normalize common inconsistencies and identify entries that need further attention.
Flagged issues identify the affected row or record, column and cell/value, with an explanation of why it was flagged and guidance for correction. This helps users find problems without searching the entire dataset.
Review flagged issues, inspect their explanations, edit values in a spreadsheet-style workflow and use supported correction, undo and review actions.
Process multiple supported files in one run, choose applicable cleaning rules and inspect per-file outcomes. Output-name customization should be described as available only if it is present in the released build.
Select supported columns, apply filters, inspect the output preview and export prepared datasets. Excel-specific formatting and alignment apply to XLSX exports.
Explore descriptive statistics, dataset profiles and charts to understand the data before future model-based analysis is introduced.
DATAREAD is a Windows desktop application designed around local data preparation. Review the released privacy documentation for the exact behaviour of file storage, audit history and any network activity.
The issue-review workflow emphasizes reasons and corrective guidance, helping users make informed decisions instead of blindly changing uncertain or suspicious values.
Support can vary by workflow and operation. Confirm compatibility with your data before relying on the application for a critical process.
Input formats: CSV, TSV, TXT, LOG, Markdown, XLSX, XLS, JSON, JSONL, NDJSON, Parquet, XML, DOCX and PDF.
Export formats: CSV, TSV, JSON, XLSX and Parquet.
Excel-specific alignment and formatting options apply to XLSX exports. Legacy DOC files and scanned-PDF OCR are not supported in this build.
DATAREAD's long-term direction is to build on trustworthy data preparation with sophisticated, domain-specific models. The capabilities below are planned for future development and are not included in the current build.
A local-first project library for datasets, cleaning recipes, corrections, versioned outputs, provenance, backup and restore, and clear controls over which datasets may be approved for model training.
Develop and evaluate models for highly specified analytical problems, using carefully curated domain knowledge to generate specialized insights, identify patterns and support predictions.
Use neural networks where complex pattern learning is justified, supported by prepared datasets, reproducible experiments and measurable model evaluation.
Explore domain-adapted language models grounded in permitted, carefully curated knowledge. Future approaches may include retrieval grounding, fine-tuning or dedicated training where justified.
The Windows application will be distributed separately from this website. A download or purchase link will be published when the release is ready.
No. DATAREAD is a Windows desktop application. This website provides product information; it does not run the desktop app in a browser.
No. The intended workflow automates supported routine formatting and flags uncertain, invalid or suspicious entries for review instead of silently guessing their correct values.
No. Vault, specialized ML/AI insights, deep learning, neural networks and LLM training are planned future capabilities, not included in this build.
This page currently marks the Windows application as Coming Soon. A public download or purchase link will be added after the release is ready for distribution.
